Our Sukkari dates are hand-harvested starting in August. We select them at a "Rutab" maturity stage, a word that means "moist" in Arabic. This level of maturity allows us to obtain a date with a particularly juicy texture, as well as a characteristic caramel-like sweetness and a honey aftertaste.
