Food Quality and Safety Policy PA01.02.04

The Management, as the highest authority of BERNABÉ BIOSCA ALIMENTACIÓN, SAU, a company that since its creation in 1919 has been dedicated to the storage, repackaging and distribution of dehydrated/dried fruit , is committed to creating, implementing, maintaining and continually improving the Food Safety and Quality Management System based on the FSSC 22000 standard, to comply with customer requirements and industry regulations and standards, and to comply with the obligation to manufacture safe and legal products in accordance with food safety and specified quality, and is developed in procedures and documents that allow the commitments acquired to be met.

The following guidelines are established for this purpose:

  • Achieve customer satisfaction through personalized treatment and
    ongoing attention
  • Continuous improvement in the performance of processes and the suitability of the services
    provided
  • Ensure the competence of our staff by promoting ongoing training and providing the relevant resources.
  • Providing the necessary resources to ensure an optimal working environment in
    the facilities, maintaining the ethics and commitment that has accompanied the company since its creation in all its areas.
  • Commitment to reducing food loss and waste within the organization
    and in the related supply chain.
  • Promote and encourage the development of effective communication with all parties
    (suppliers, customers and employees) so that their actions and our own are based on relationships that guarantee their ethical and personal responsibility.
  • Control of our product, process and specifications , at all stages, from its
    initial conception to sale to our customers, offering a safe product and guaranteeing compliance with the legal requirements applicable to it .

This Corporate Policy is available to employees and to persons who may act on behalf of the company. On an annual basis, this Policy is translated into Quality and Food Safety Objectives, turning these guidelines into measurable realities.
