Our products are present in the 5 continents and more than 17 countries. We have also created different brands to suit the uniqueness and culture of the different distribution areas.

Our Brands

Registered trademarks since 1923, fruit of the entrepreneurial and innovative character of our founders.

EL MONAGUILLO

This brand is the flagship of our company and represents our history, present and future. Registered in 1923, it celebrates more than 100 years of existence, promoting the best varieties of dates and other natural products all over the world.

SIDI BOU

It was created to differentiate formats and presentations of our dates from Tunisia. This denomination and quality brand is adapted to the culture and idiosyncrasies of the countries of North Africa and other countries in the rest of the world.

SELKYA

The word SELKYA is formed and means: Selection of Khouat and Allighes. We created this brand to differentiate and adapt the Tunisian common dates in our exports. This brand is particularly widespread and present in South America.

GREEN PLANET

Created in 1996, this brand represents our vocation to promote organic products. GREEN PLANET also represents our commitment to the permanent development of oases and our support for farmers.

DAHURIF

We created this brand in 2011 for the marketing of Allighes dates from Tunisia. The variety Alligh is very abundant in the Tunisian palm grove.

Sustainability and Innovation

Growing the date and other dried fruits promotes a sustainable local economy and maintains traditional agricultural practices.

We continue to expand our actions to reduce pollution and curb the consequences of climate change. In 2021, we installed 300 solar panels in our Alicante factory. These panels produce 100 kilowatts of annual power, covering 40% of the energy consumption of our facility.

We also continue to research and innovate to avoid food waste and to develop new uses and applications for date and our other products.

With a system of supervision throughout the entire production and distribution process, the quality of our products is guaranteed.

IN THE SAME OASIS

Our establishment, near the production area of Jerid, has more than 1.5 million date palms and allows us to guarantee a product in accordance with our quality standards.
All our farmers adhere to a set of rigorous production standards to preserve the quality of our products. The size, appearance, freshness, moisture content and microbiological values are checked by our controllers to ensure that only top-quality dates are integrated into the production process.

RIGOROUS ANALYSIS

Our rigorous quality analysis plan is one of the key elements in food safety management, with which we can check and control products at each stage of production, allowing a very high reactivity.

This ensures that after each of the different operations of the production process, the product retains all its natural characteristics, nutritional quality, microbiological quality and sensory quality.

CERTIFICATION

For us, quality is a permanent and daily commitment. Our food safety and quality policy allow us to guarantee a high level of food safety through the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety and Quality Management System based on the FSSC 22000 standard, recognized by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).

Our factories in Tunisia are also IFS FOOD and BRC certified, where more than 10 qualified food safety techniques ensure that our products are made according to these standards.

To adapt to the demand of some markets, a significant part of our products has HALAL and KOSHER certifications. We also offer organic products. These products reflect our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.
